You can request a renewal through your interlibrary loan account within three days prior to the due date as well as on the due date. Once the due date has passed, you must return the item. You can submit a new request to borrow the material from another library.

  • Log in to your interlibrary loan account.
  • Under the View section, choose "Checked Out Items View/Renew."
  • Select the ILLiad transaction number, and the Request Renewal button will appear.
  • You will receive a 3-day renewal while we wait for a response from the lending library.

We will contact you with a new due date if the renewal is granted. If the lending library denies the renewal, you will receive an email directing you to return the material immediately.

You can find more information on the Interlibrary Loan Services page

Please contact the Interlibrary Loan office at 218-726-6628 if you have questions.
